Hello, I’m Diana Hooker
Diana L. Hooker was born in Harlan, Kentucky, a small town nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. As a child she enjoyed spending time with her grandparents and her great aunts and uncles listening to their stories. The tales were more than walking in the snow uphill both ways to get to school. The stories were definitely of hardship but mingled with hope, laughter and triumph which were lessons shared over time.
As she started charting her own path through college, moving away from home, career, marriage and parenthood, Diana discovered she still loved discovering the lessons in the good, bad and ugly of life. Inspired by all the stories shared by family and friends, she started following a passion of writing to help others find their way through adversity to their greatness on the other side.
Diana is currently working on her solo book to be released in 2023. In the meantime, she contributed a few stories to in Goodness Abounds, Soulful Messages, Soul Biz, The Art of Connection Volumes 2 & 3, and Rising Sisterhood: Rise with us and find the beauty and your seat at the table.
